Biography
Sam progressed through the Nantwich youth set-up but left the Weaver Stadium in the summer of 2012 without making a senior appearance. Featured for Lostock Gralam (14/15) and returned to Nantwich from Middlewich Town in March 2018 making his debut as a substitute in the 2-0 win at Shaw Lane, 24/03/2018.
Returned to Middlewich in the summer of 2018. His peculiar claim to fame is securing two Cheshire Senior Cup winners medals with the Dabbers despite never kicking a ball for the club in the competition – he didn’t appear for the club in any of the rounds but was an unused substitute in both the 2012 and 2018 finals!
