Biography
Started his football career with Lancaster City when he was just 16 and scored twice in 24 league games, before dropping into the North Lancashire & District League with Marsh United in 2007. He was picked up by Chorley, scoring 5 times in 12 appearances before moving on to Kendal Town where he scored in his only game for the Cumbrians. Returned to Lancaster in 2009 where his goal-scoring attracted scouts from a host of clubs.
Transferred to Crewe Alexandra in February 2010 for a fee believed to be around £35,000 but went straight back to his former club on loan – finishing the campaign with 35 goals. Made his only Crewe appearance as a substitute in the League Cup defeat at home to Ipswich Town in August 2010, joining Nantwich on loan in October 2010. Made his Dabbers’ debut on his 21st birthday, scoring in the 5-3 home win over Kendal Town. A double hernia cut short the loan but he returned to the Weaver Stadium on a second loan in January 2011 after recovering from surgery.
Was loaned by Crewe to Icelandic side IBV in the summer of 2011 but returned to Gresty Road early after a recurrence of the hernia injury restricted him to just 2 appearances. Loaned by the Alex to Kendal Town (4 lge goals) in November 2011, he re-joined Nantwich for a further loan spell in January 2012 but it proved less successful and he returned to the Alexandra Stadium.
Signed on loan for Workington (11/12 6+1,2) in March 2012, making the move permanent during the 2012 close season. Returned to Kendal in July 2013 and then back to Lancaster in November 2013. Left the Giant Axe in the summer of 2017 to move to Australia.
