Biography
Began his career with Manchester City and represented England at under-17 and under-18 level. Released from the club after being found guilty of causing death by careless driving.
In November 2013, after being released from prison, he joined Carlisle United on trial and later that month signed an initial one-month contract with the club, going on to pen a two-and-a-half-year contract. Made his League debut at home to Tranmere Rovers, 14/12/2014.
Left Brunton Park in November 2015 and appeared for Ashton United (15/16:1,0) before signing for Conference North club Chorley in March 2016. Featured for Stockport County and Glossop North End before returning to Chorley and joined another Conference North club, AFC Telford United in June 2020.
After just one season with Telford, he signed for Radcliffe in August 2021, going on loan to Avro. In December 2022, he joined Guiseley on loan, signing permanently in May 2023 after the end of his contract at Radcliffe.
On 30 December 2023, Meppen-Walter joined Nantwich Town on an initial one-month loan deal, before joining the club permanently on 26 January 2024.
On 18 December 2024, Mepps joined NW Counties Premier side Bury for an undisclosed fee and the following month joined Stalybridge Celtic on loan. Released by Bury in 2026.
