Biography

A junior with Bolton Wanderers, he made a single League appearance in a 2-1 defeat at Manchester City, 13/04/1963. After a stint with Ellesmere Port Town, he played football in Canada with Toronto FC (1965-67), making a single appearance for Ashton United (67/68:1,0) in September 1967 on his return.
The right back joined the Dabbers on trial from Halifax in October 1968. Made his debut in the 3-0 defeat at Frickley Colliery, 12/10/1968.
