Biography
Dave was an experienced League player who was an apprentice with Stoke City (1973-77:29,3) progressing to their first team and scoring on his debut at home to West Ham United in August 1973. Left the Victoria Ground for Mansfield Town (1977-79:58,8) in November 1977 and signed for Bury (80/81:6,0) in September 1980.
Finished his League career with Rochdale (81/82:41,6) and finally, in August 1982, with Crewe Alexandra (82/83:6+3,0).
