Signed for Newcastle Town (1999-00) in the summer of 1999, where he figured as a centre half.
Vauxhall Motors (2000-02) paid ‘Castle a fee of around £2300 for him in January 2001. Returned to non-league in February 2004 with Leek Town (2003-04:54+8,11) and then re-joined Kidsgrove, converting back to a striker and signing again for Newcastle Town in December 2005. Had a spell in the Staffs County League with Redgate Clayton prior to signing for Congleton Town (07/08:44,34), top scoring for the Bears. In the summer of 2008 he moved to Spain playing for Horadada but returned to Congleton (08/09:24,16) in January 2009 and then back to Kidsgrove in the summer of 2009, netting 25 goals that season.
Had a third spell at Congleton (10/11:18,11) before joining Kidsgrove for a third time in November 2010. In July 2011 he left ‘Grove for Leek Town (11/12:51,27) where he finished the season as top scorer and was voted Supporters’ Player of the Year. Passed the landmark of 150 career goals in December 2012. Signed NW Counties League forms for Norton United (12/13: 9,3) in March 2013 and started a fourth spell at Kidsgrove in July 2013.
